Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers. No promises we can’t keep.
The Basics
What is One Reserve?
One Reserve is a telehealth platform that connects you to licensed medical providers. If treatment is clinically appropriate for you, we facilitate prescriptions and pharmacy fulfillment — directly to your door.
Is One Reserve a real medical provider?
One Reserve is the technology platform. The medical providers are licensed physicians and practitioners who operate through the platform. You are not in a doctor-patient relationship with One Reserve — you are in one with your provider.
What conditions do you treat?
At launch, One Reserve focuses on weight management using GLP-1 prescription medications. Not every condition can be treated via telehealth, and not every applicant is eligible. Your provider makes that determination.
Is this available in my state?
One Reserve is available in select states. Check our intake flow for the current list.
Is One Reserve covered by insurance?
No. One Reserve operates on a cash-pay basis. We are not enrolled with Medicare, Medicaid, or any commercial insurer. The cost you see is the cost you pay. No surprise billing, no insurance runaround.
Getting Started
How do I get started?
Complete your health assessment online. It takes about ten minutes. A licensed provider reviews your intake and determines whether treatment is appropriate for you.
What happens after I submit my health assessment?
Your intake goes to a licensed provider for review. If treatment is appropriate, a prescription is issued. You will be notified when your provider has reviewed your case.
What information do I need to complete my assessment?
Basic health history, current weight, medications you are taking, and any relevant conditions. Your answers are reviewed by a licensed medical professional.
Do I need to see a doctor in person?
No. One Reserve is a telehealth platform. Everything happens online. If your provider determines that in-person care is necessary for your specific situation, they will advise you accordingly.
Important: If you are experiencing a life-threatening situation or contemplating suicide, call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988.
Your Treatment
What medications are available through One Reserve?
At launch, One Reserve offers compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide for weight management. These are compounded by a licensed pharmacy and require a valid prescription from a licensed provider.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved drug products.
How is the medication administered?
Both semaglutide and tirzepatide are subcutaneous injections — administered under the skin, typically in the abdomen. Your provider will explain the protocol and titration schedule specific to your plan.
How quickly does it work?
Individual results vary. Most patients notice changes in appetite within the first few weeks. Measurable weight loss typically develops over the first one to three months. No outcomes are guaranteed.
What if my provider decides I am not eligible?
We tell you clearly. We don’t redirect you to an alternative product or pressure you into a different path. If treatment isn’t right for you, that’s the answer.
Can I stop treatment at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Speak with your provider before stopping, particularly if you have been on a GLP-1 medication for an extended period.
Billing & Subscriptions
What does it cost?
One Reserve charges a subscription fee that covers your provider consultation, prescription (where issued), and medication dispensing and shipping.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. What you see at checkout is what you pay. No administrative fees, no consultation surcharges, no surprise charges.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel any time through your account portal, by contacting support at support@onereserve.com, or by messaging your care team directly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support at support@onereserve.com with your concern and we will respond within one business day.
Shipping
How is my medication shipped?
Your medication is dispensed and shipped by a licensed compounding pharmacy. It arrives in discreet packaging at the address on your account.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping timelines depend on your location and the pharmacy fulfilling your prescription.
Can I change my shipping address?
Yes. Update your address in your account portal or contact support at support@onereserve.com. Changes must be made before your next shipment processes.
Privacy & Safety
How is my health information protected?
Your information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA where applicable. For the full details, see our Privacy Policy and HIPAA Notice.
Does One Reserve sell my data?
One Reserve does not sell patient health information. For details on how your data is used and disclosed, see our Privacy Policy.
Is my consultation confidential?
Yes. Your clinical information is shared only with your treating provider, the pharmacy fulfilling your prescription, and as otherwise required or permitted by law.
Prescription required
GLP-1 medications are prescription-only. A licensed healthcare provider must review your health intake assessment before any prescription is issued. Prescription issuance is not guaranteed and is solely at the discretion of the reviewing provider based on your individual health history and clinical criteria.
